A tribute to the great sage Ibn Al Arabi.. and for the love of Almighty Allah... for the love of Islam.. for the love of Sufism... for the love of poetry!!!! 😊🤍💐
There goes a saying that "Conceit is God's gift to little men." On the contrary, Ibn Al Arabi refers to one of his dervish friends whose gait in pride is because of God's presence in the garden of his soul. The dervish proudly expresses "How could I not do so?... (for) I am His hearing and His sight!" The essence of his soul, which is metaphorically referred by Ibn Al Arabi as 'the garden', becomes the station where Almighty Allah's attributes are reflected and he has been invested with His qualities. He explains that the one who sees pride in him sees nothing but a reflection of himself or herself, as Allah is omnipresent in all of His creations ('the flowers'). Ibn Al Arabi denotes that the vision of God in created things is more exalted than the vision of created things in God.
