7th ASEAN Para Games successfully concluded yesterday. The wheel chaired basketball took place at Wunna Theidhi Indoor Stadium (B), where Philippines won over Myanmar with 81-39 points. Thailand seized gold after defeating Malaysia with 62-39 points in the finals. The final events of women's and men's sitting volley ball events and wheel chaired basket ball were held at Wunna Theikdi sports Complex. Myanmar secured gold at men's sitting volleyball event, while Myanmar's women team won silver. The finals of football 7-A side also took place yesterday. Myanmar brought gold medal to the nation by winning over Singapore with 2-0 result. The closing ceremony of 7th ASEAN para games will be held at the Wunna Theikdhi Sports Complex in Nay Pyi Taw at 6:00 pm today.
