Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan has tested positive for COVID-19.
Mr McGowan was forced into self-isolation for seven days after a family member tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday.
The WA Premier says he will continue to work from home and quarantine while he recovers.
He expects to be cleared to leave home by next Thursday, April 28.
It comes a day after Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese also contracted COVID-19 on Thursday, sending him into isolation and out of the campaign until he recovers.
