A caregiver cleans and feeds Janus, a two-headed tortoise at Geneva’s Natural History Museum in Switzerland.
MORE: The museum’s team is preparing to celebrate Janus’ 25th birthday this weekend, making him the world’s oldest bicephalic tortoise.
"I think it's because of the attention we give him and our devotion that he's still here today," said caregiver Angelica Bourgoin. A birthday party is planned at the museum this weekend where he will receive a surprise present.
To keep Janus in form, Bourgoin and other caregivers feed him organic salad and give him daily massages, and baths in green tea and chamomile. For exercise, he goes for regular walks, sometimes with music, and rides on a custom-made skateboard.
