Yoo Ah In Investigated For Propofol Use
On February 8, it was reported that Yoo Ah In was being investigated for propofol use. It was reported that on February 6, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency summoned and investigated Yoo Ah In for violating the Narcotics Control Act. In fact, the police banned him from leaving the country. The police asked the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to examine Yoo Ah-in's body hair to determine whether he was taking propofol. The agency, United Artists Agency, confirmed that the actor has been investigated and is participating in all investigations. Propofol is a common drug and is not considered dangerous in many countries, but it is considered an illegal substance in Korea. South Korea classifies the drug as a psychotropic drug, and should only be taken for prescribed treatments and possibly under anesthesia.
