Hurricane Sally hit Pensacola but a lot of rain hit Panama City Beach. The lake behind my house rose and flooded my house. About twenty houses on Lullwater Lake flood. It is believed that the City of Panama City Beach neglected the drainage system and may be at fault. We don't know yet but there is going to be an investigation.
In this video, I show what the damage to my house looks like and we are doing to get out everything that is wet to prevent mold from growing. Some neighbors are waiting to see if the city or FEMA is going to help them. But I just started tearing out everything that is wet.
I'm going to be doing follow up videos to show what else had to be done and how we are moving forward.
