[ Ссылка ] Rising tension on the border between Kosovo and Serbia has left four NATO troops injured after pipe bombs were thrown during clashes.
Local Serb authorities say at least six Kosovan Serbs were seriously injured in a gunbattle at the Jarinje border crossing about 100 kilometres north of the capital Pristina.
KFOR said live rounds were fired at the peacekeepers. One of the pipe bomb casualties was seriously injured and had to be evacuated after rubber bullets and teargas were used to drive back protesters angry at the removal of Serb-manned barricades.
