In the run-up to the first phase of election in Chattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi engaged in a war of words in their poll campaigns. The battle of gaining support in most of what has been affected by red-terror, intensified on Friday with Prime Minister accusing Congress of backing "Urban Maoist" whereas Rahul Gandhi alleged that no other prime minister had damaged the economy as much as Narendra Modi.
