Dr. Felix Anton Sklenarz has received the KLU Dissertation Award 2023, sponsored by the Dr. Friedrich Jungheinrich Foundation. "My Ph.D. is in the area of the marketing-finance interface, and I look at how disruption through digitization and economic crises changes the role of market share and financial brand value for companies", says Felix. "The background here is that marketing since basically forever has been under increasing pressure to justify its expenses and to demonstrate its impact. In my doctorate, I try to find ways to measure marketing performance in a better way."
To this end, Dr. Sklenarz’s dissertation compromises three independent studies. All three studies are currently being reviewed by prominent journals. In addition, they have been honored with this year’s Research Prize, awarded by the Markenverband (German Brands Association).
Dr. Sklenarz accepted the award, which is endowed with 1,000 euros, at the graduation ceremony on September 22.
