A man suspected of having coronavirus fled from a Mangaluru hospital where he was admitted after arriving from Dubai on Sunday. A report in The Hindustan Times said that the patient was admitted to the hospital after he showed elevated body temperature during the screening at the airport. The report said his relatives allegedly created a ruckus in the hospital to get him released but hospital authorities had declined saying that he was under observation given the coronavirus scare. However, in the early hours of Monday the passenger escaped from the hospital. A man hunt has been launched for him.
