Deep Blue Auto announced that it will conduct a high altitude vertical drop test on the evening of July 29 to "challenge the highest record in the industry". The test results were announced on July 30.
Announcing the test results, Deep Blue Automobile said that the only criterion for test safety is practicality. Deep Blue G318, whose difficulty level of the national standard test is 3.24, successfully challenged a free fall from a height of 32 meters. The ceiling and beams are not deformed, the airbags open normally, there is no breakage on the windshield, the hidden door handle comes out automatically, the door can be opened and closed normally, there is no leakage or thermal failure in the high voltage system and there is no fire or smoke.
It can be said that this test result is quite strong, there is almost no major loss or impact in the vehicle, and it is reliable in terms of driver and passenger safety.
In this test, we used the Mk II+Eurocopter EC225 "Super Puma" large twin-engine long-range passenger helicopter to lift the Deep Blue G318 to a height of 32 meters, and then the vehicle fell to the ground in free fall. , the maximum speed is 90 km/h.
The Deep Blue G318 model was launched on June 13. It adopts the 1.5T extended-range power system and is available in six models, including single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive versions, and its prices start from 175,900 yuan. The car adopts a high-strength seven-ring mesh body structure and ultra-high-strength thermoforming technology, and the body torsional rigidity is 45,000 Nm/degree.
In the 90-yard high-speed harsh test environment, a dark blue G318 performed well, judging by the field footage. There was no damage to other parts of the body, only the head collapsed safely, and the internal driving area remained intact.
Congratulations on the Deep Blue G318.
