The top diplomats from Russia and the United States have held a surprise meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in India.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke for the first time since Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The meeting went for around 10 minutes and was understood to not be a formal one.
