​A minute's silence was held outside the Convent at 4pm today for the funeral of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The Governor Sir David Steele, Chief Minister Fabian Picardo, and Commander British Forces Steve Dainton, were present.
The beginning and end of the tribute was marked by a gun salute fired from Devil's Gap Battery by the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.
