If you're getting ready for movers to come and pack you up, get the pamphlet "It's Your Move" to help you prepare. It outlines what your responsibilities are, and what to expect from the moving company. You'll find out if there's anything you own that's not allowed in this type of move, which of your items and rooms need special prep for the movers; and, what to do with valuables. It also shows you the best way to inventory and what to do in the case something is broken or missing. It's all in the pdf document "It's Your Move", available online.
