This is different than running from the Dragonlord, since it happens on a specific space, you get set back a space if you successfully run.
The Dragonlord fight begins when you talk to him, the fixed encounters being when you step on a certain space. This happens with the Axe Knight in Hauksness and the Green Dragon in the Swamp Cave as well.
Also 50 Damage, ouch! (This is a no armor run)
