It took less than 100 years for New Yorkers to wipe out the oyster population in NY Harbor. Now, the Billion Oyster Project is rebuilding this important natural resource and habitat.

Join students of the NY Harbor School, Research Associate Technicians, Billion Oyster Project staff and volunteers as they incubate, harvest and regenerate this delicate keystone species with the goal of reintroducing one billion oysters by 2030.
