This panel event will explore the use of carbon markets to finance nature-based solutions in the agricultural sector. This is a ready-to-scale approach that employs mature carbon markets while nature repair markets gain traction. The session will focus on restoration of degraded rangelands and croplands to high productivity, with improved food security, climate resilience and expanded habitat for native species as co-benefits.
