This is the National where Mick Fitzgerald famously described the experience of winning The National as the best 12 minutes you can have; even better than sex. This is the whole broadcast presented by Des Lynham plus a bit of footer inevitably thrown in. The best moment for me is David Bridgewater's interview. He'd finished second and lost the Steward's Enquiry and yet he still praised the winner with a genuine smile on his face. Such a contrast to a report from Des that a footballer had been thrown off the pitch for outrageous and violent behaviour. Racing truly is a sport conducted in good grace by true gentlemen and of course gentleladies!!!
