I don't fish dams very often, but when I do I catch a 40cm redfin! Well, not always... but this time I did. Battling the extreme winds I cast around a size 1 Mepps bladed spinner in the search for big redfin. It was only about the 4th cast when I hooked up to that monster, and then I spent the next hour trekking right around the dam and back past my original starting spot to find another fish! It was very slow, but as I said in the outtro - when I think of fishing I think of 2 things; fun and relaxation, and this ticked both boxes.
