The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) has finally provided the timeline for the conduct of proceedings with trial expected to commence from May 30th 2023 and end on 5th August 2023. However, we recall that the Tribunal refused the request by Obi's lawyers for 7 weeks to prove their case. The Tribunal in refusing the request, established that granting such request will leave the court with only 4 days to write it's judgment which was not a for bargain.

This has met several reactions from Nigerians with some arguing that 4 days is more than enough time to write Judgement.
