University of NSW Constitutional Lawyer Professor George Williams says the legal advice released by the Solicitor-General on Tuesday for former prime minister Scott Morrison’s ministerial arrangements is a “political advantage” for the government.
“Governments normally keep advice from the Solicitor-General very close to their chest,” Professor Williams told Sky News Australia.
“It’s very hard, in fact, to get them to reveal it.”
