The Wild Atlantic Way, the magnificent West Coast of Ireland - John Creedon is about to travel its full length in this new 3 part RTE One series, Creedon’s Wild Atlantic Way. This epic road trip will take him from Kinsale in Cork right up to the very top of our island – Donegal’s Malin Head.
John Creedon travels to ‘Dursey Island’ the most westerly of West Cork’s inhabited islands and travels by Ireland’s only cable car which runs 250m above the infamous Dursey Sound.
Steeped in tradition & folklore with spectacular views of the Beara peninsula, John discovers the history of the island from postman Pat O’Neill and learns some of the islands more unusual customs.
