It's time to test the wish.com Drone! Only £40 with a 1080p camera - we were immediately suspicious! [ Ссылка ]
With the RRP on the DJI Mavic Pro that we were able to buy using the generous subs from our Patrons (thanks patrons!) over £1100 we didn't think our £40 wish.com drone stood a chance! It came poorly boxed and with semi-english instructions - the first thing Jeek did was ignore them. Smaller and lighter than the DJI, we gave it a charge and tried flying it - FAIL! Turns out that you do indeed need to calibrate these guys - our first flight was amusing but the poor wish.com drone barely got off the ground, battering into various things at Driftland's car park along the way.
Overnight, Jeek consulted the oracle of the manual and found that YES you do need to calibrate it, and worked out what some of the SNES-ripoff controller buttons actually did. The next day we took it for a flight - great success! So, what do you do after this point? Obviously it's time to see if we can fly it through the windows of a car on drift! Stu donned his appropriate PPE and racing gloves (welding gloves) and we put the drone up against the car. We thought it would smash into a thousand pieces at the slightest touch of the car - we were absolutely shocked at the outcome! Could this be a Driftland wish.com best buy? 🤣
