Built in response to customer demands for greater comfort and added refinement to the preceding DB5 model, the DB6 was produced for just over 4 years, with just over 1,300 produced. Finding favour in the day with many celebrities and captains of industry, the DB6 was the final development of the David Brown era of hand built GT cars. Constructed on a steel chassis with hand formed lightweight aluminium bodies, the combination of performance and practicality remains potent to this day.
