Roger Stotesbury, 58, was with his wife Hilary (together, left and inset) when he tragically slipped from the edge of a wall of the famous Laxmi Narayan Temple (right). The couple had been on a year-long world tour and India was their final stop before they returned home next month. Police claim he was trying to take a selfie when he fell, but a family member told MailOnline this was not the case. He was then taken to Raja Ram Hospital but died later after it is believed he broke his back in the fall. Her cousin, Gina Rozner, revealed that the severity of the situation was not immediately clear. 'Neither of them thought it was fatal accident when it happened,' she said. 'He went from being badly injured with a broken leg, to dying.'
