We have been producing Indigo-dyed Hanten.
Although the techniques have been improved over the years, the traditional character forms and indigo-dyeing process have been the same. Using these traditional techniques that were passed down for generations, we have been able to carry out most of the manufacturing process within the company, while many artisans in the field retire. We will continue to be a part of the Japanese culture while protecting these traditions.
Our manufacturing process can be divided into techniques, such as character forms, indigo dyeing and fabric, and forms of Hanten. We want to use these different techniques to produce more modern designs and items.
