Gothenburg is the 2nd largest city in Sweden and is located on the west coast of the country. It is a distinctly different type of city and even has a different feel to it when compared to the capital city of Stockholm. I have been here a few times but never with my drone in hand. I decided to get up early one summer day (around 5am) to catch the golden hour light after sunrise. Some of my favorite places in the video are Feskekörka, Skansen Kronan, Stenpiren, Göteborg Domkyrkan, Stora Hamnkanalen, and Lindholmen.
Since I live in Uppsala, I am just a short train ride away from Stockholm, so I have been spoiled by living near the capital and all the great sights and sounds that come with it. When I head to Gothenburg though, it is a distinctly different feeling that is hard to explain. The city still feels big, with about half a million inhabitants, but there is a small town feel to it as well. This gives me a greater sense of home and calm whenever I visit. And this is the reason why I continue to go back!
If you're heading to this city and want to know what is worth seeing, check out my blog post on it here:

As for the drone regulations: to fly in Sweden, one must have registered within their home European country and passed an exam in the A1/A3 drone category. As always, drone rules such as maintaining visual line of sight, flying no more than 120 meters in altitude, and never flying over crowds must always be adhered to.
*There were also specific locations in Gothenburg that restricted me to flying no higher than 50 meters due to being within the Landvetter Airport control zone.*
