A message to people who have experienced body shaming - you are perfect as you are! Being a victim of body shaming, the negative impact can become quite severe and lead to mental health issues. How can we learn to cope when body shaming occurs? How can a person develop healthy mind habits and realise they someone who is loved and cherished? Although the process is not easy, I will tell my story and what I did to overcome it. Isabella (Junyuan) was born in Shanghai, China. As a student, she studies a range of subjects and hopes to further her education in either biochemistry or criminology. In daily life, Isabella loves doing sports such as soccer and basketball. She loves how sport can help to relax people, but also sees how team sports help to promote relationships, social development and teamwork skills.
