This is part one of the Verde Canyon Railroad ride I took in March, 2016.
The journey lasts 4-hours and ventures through the beautiful wilderness of the American Southwest near Sedona.
Our tickets were for the first class cabin in a vintage train car that had large windows with soft comfortable love seats almost set up like a living room or den. Plus it had an all you can eat buffet set up.
Even though the cars were homey and comfortable with excellent views we hardly sat in them. We opted instead to stand outside in the open-air cars because the scenery was so breath taking beautiful we didn't want to be confined. The train moves at a very leisurely pace so you can really take it all in.
I recommend taking this train ride.
