Fleeing with their treasure, it's long been believed that the Templars sailed from Scotland to Nova Scotia following old Viking routes. They were helped by an aristocrat called Henry Sinclair - the Earl of Orkney.

The theory continues that they buried their treasure - possibly on Oak Island - and built the Newport Tower in Rhode Island. Their wealth was passed on to the Freemasons and used to fund the American revolution.

Or is this all just hokum? Templar historian Tony McMahon sets out to discover the truth visiting Rosslyn chapel and caves with mysterious carvings. Are there clues to the mystery in these places?
