Ok, this is something I put together real quick for the power outage that was to come due to Irma. Instead of using a standard UPS, that would go DC to AC to DC at around 70% efficiency I wanted to go from DC to DC at 92-94% efficiency. This is version 1, version 2 will be much larger and more permanent.
