Kevin Costner Is Leaning On His Kids After Difficult Year: They’re ‘Keeping Him Strong’
his traumatic divorce from his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, his breakup with Jewel, the expensive break from Yellowstone, and his Horizon fiasco, Kevin Costner has had a year to forget. But according to an insider who spoke exclusively to Life & Style, he has good kids who support him and look out for him no matter what.
The source tells Life & Style, "His kids from both ex-wives get along great and they're banding together to take care of him now, keeping his spirits up through the loneliness of the holidays and everything else he's had to deal with." "They're giving back to him now, and Kevin tried to be the best father he could be when they were kids. He would have them on the set with him just to stay close."
According to the insider, it is "a credit to Kevin" that his kids are "all well-adjusted kids."
They're what's enabling him to persevere in the face of increasing hardship," the source continues.
With his first ex-wife, Cindy Silva, Kevin is the proud father of three adult children: Annie, who is forty, Lily, who is thirty-eight, and Joe, who is thirty-six. In addition, he and Christine, 50, have a 17-year-old Cayden Wyatt, a 15-year-old Hayes Logan, and a 14-year-old Grace Avery.
In May 2023, Christine filed for divorce from Kevin, and in February, their separation was finalized. After his marriage ended, he was briefly associated with Jewel, 50, but both Kevin and the "Sammy the Spider" singer have denied being more than friends.
The Oscar winner revealed in June that he was leaving Yellowstone because the season 5 filming schedule clashed with that of his side project, Horizon. In the end, the choice led to a significant rift between Kevin and Taylor Sheridan, the show's creator.
Despite his obvious love for the four-part film series, Life & Style previously revealed that Kevin suffered financial setbacks as a result of the Horizon project's losses following the June release of the first film.
Although Kevin's financial situation and career may be in doubt, another insider revealed exclusively to Life & Style on December 11 that he has been acclimating to life as a single man. Actually, his goal is to better himself by becoming healthier and looking better.
Although he has incorporated a more sensible approach to his beauty regimen, the source clarified that "he may have given in to the occasional Botox and fillers." Kevin is committed to maintaining "himself fine-tuned through exercise, a healthy diet, and an odd assortment of beauty rituals," the insider claims.
Kevin maintains an active lifestyle by swimming, surfing, hiking, and horseback riding as part of his exercise regimen. To "reduce wrinkles and stiffness in the joints," he also "indulges in the hot sauna" in the interim.
The Californian has also adopted "a low-carb diet" and altered his eating patterns. He is also "doing crunches and spending money on facials, hairstyling, and a stylish new wardrobe."
According to the insider, "he's clearly enjoying being single because he has that randy look in his eye." However, he is eager for a new beginning and hopes to meet Ms. Right in 2025.
