A short burst of the famous Toccata from Widor's 5th organ symphony on a Rushworth and Dreaper "Apollo" Reed Organ. The instrument shown was built in 1938 by the Liverpool based pipe organ builders Rushworth & Dreaper.
This is intended only as a demonstration of the instrument, the playing will have to be excused!
The clip shows the full swell (with Octave coupler) which is reduced to Gamba alone (plus octave) and the Diapasons 8 & 4 on the Great. The pedals use the Open Diapason 16' coupled to Sw and Gt.
The organ is electrically blown by the original motor which is enclosed in the lower half of the case.
