How to design an attention-grabbing book cover for a vampire story? Let’s find out in this video 😉

We created this design for M.C. Waring’s urban fantasy Blood Heat 🩸

🔥 We started with an eye-catching protagonist. Using 3D modeling, our designer gave the character the necessary pose. The luxurious hair made the girl even more attractive, and the red eyes emphasized her supernatural origin.
🔥 Then we worked on the background. Night city with lights and fog became the perfect setting to highlight the urban subgenre. A motorbike also draws readers’ attention to the heroine and overall cover. Our designer improved the composition by adding light reflections and shadows.
🔥 Massive typography with a metallic effect became a final step. Blinks make the title noticeable and prominent.
