Summary: The year is 2027. Alex Rain is a Los Angeles policeman who has been shot-to-pieces in the line of duty in a gunfight with a terrorist organization "The Red Army Hammerheads". Rebuilt with robotic implants, Alex is now more machine than man and is now a cyborg. Alex decides to retire from the LAPD and runs a private business as a data smuggler. But Alex's former boss Police Comissioner Farnsworth and his associates decides to give Alex one last assignment, Alex is to apprehend his former partner Jared who is smuggling data to the Red Army Hammerheads who plot to kill government officials. To force Alex do the assignment, they implant a bomb in his heart. But Alex uncovers a cyborg conspiracy as Cyborgs plot to rule the world and The Red Army Hammerheads are really fighting for humanity and Alex begins to question the assignment.
