BORACAY ISLANDS PHILIPPINES 4K [Ultra HD] - Drone Views
Boracay is an Island just 750 meters north-west of Aklan province in the Philippines. It is almost ten square kilometers in size.
The island's location in the lower tropical latitudes and the influence of the surrounding seas result in a balanced temperature of around 26 °C with only minor fluctuations throughout the year. From May to November, most of the precipitation falls with the southwest monsoon. From August to October, typhoons are frequent in the central and northern Philippines. From November to April, the north-east trade wind blows with little precipitation. The highest elevation is Mount Luho at 113 meters.
The approximately 3.5 km long White Beach, Diniwid Beach on the west side and the neighboring island of Crocodile Island are tourist attractions. The island is suitable for divers. Lush coral reefs and big fish make interesting dives possible. In the months of November to April, the north-east trade wind blows, making kitesurfing and windsurfing possible at Bulabog Beach on the east side of the island.
The extensive bay measures up to approx. 600 m towards the horizon and has a water depth of 70 to 100 cm. In addition to diving, golfing and sailing, all water fun sports such as banana boating, jet skiing, wakeboarding and snorkeling are possible on White Beach.
Because of the countless restaurants, bars and discotheques that are open every day until late at night, many party tourists come to the island. From time to time, cruise ship passengers visit White Beach.
