Boat tours, Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, Rock Island Light House, Thousand Islands Winery and more! That's just some of what we experienced. We even got a special tasting with the winemaker at Thousand Islands Winery!
A special thanks to the friendly staff at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Watertown, New York. Joanne was quite keen on making sure everyone was happy and was an all around warm person.
Traveling around Watertown, Alexandria Bay, and Clayton in New York was definitely a fun experience especially with the knowledgeable tour guides on the boats and at Singer Castle. There was much more nature to explore, which we'll return to next time. I want to see more birds next time! I did see a great blue heron three times but my shots were not the best. There was a cute ground hog near where we stayed.
