"Breelyn A. Wilky, MD, of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Miami, Fl, talks about her hopes for the future of metastatic sarcoma treatment. She explains that in the future, she hopes that patients with metastatic sarcoma will undergo more than just a pathology review. Whole gene sequencing and immunosignaturing will also be done to generate individualised patient data. Based on the data, a patiens will be able to be given a personalised treatment plan that includes traditional agents like chemotherapy and radiation therapy but also built in with some of the new technology with immunotherapy.
