Austin Ernst was born in Greenville, South Carolina. Austin was a member of the LSU Tigers women’s golf team for two years, where she went on to become the 2011 NCAA champion. Austin qualified for the LPGA Tour on her first attempt in 2012, finishing 14th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament.
