The Brno astronomical clock doesn’t tell time but it will spit out a marble at 11am. The competition for the marble is high but you should try your luck. The locals also want to try and grab the Marble and we aren’t sure why, perhaps, they can sell it?

The Ossuary of Brno is a unique place in Europe if you are on a budget. The ossuary of Brno contains over 50,000 corpses worth of skeletal remains. The Brno ossuary was rediscovered in 2001, underneath the Church of St. James. The ossuary is the 2nd largest in Europe, the first being the Paris Catacombs. The Brno Ossuary a unique place in Europe was opened to the public in 2012.

We visited Špilberk Castle and the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Paul. Is Brno worth visiting? We think yes! Brno gets much less international tourism compared to Prague but Brno is a charming city, full of unique places in Europe, and is affordable if you are traveling on a budget.
