SaferMed 0.5 CC automated retractable safety syringe (prototype).
1. Our safety mechanism could be implemented in a traditional 0.5 CC syringe, showing that our safety mechanism design is simple and effective.
2. Our design also eliminated dead space in the syringe, therefore eliminated drug waste.
