In 1994, CFNY had new owners and new management. replacing the CASBY's (Canadian Artists Selected By You) with Music Matters. Music Matters was to incorporate many different artistic elements - canvas, spoken word, fashion, dance and music. It's a little cringeworthy at times, but has has perfromances by Change of Heart, hHead, Killjoys, Dave Bidini and others. A snaphot of the time just before we called it grunge. Greatest bit is Martin Streek roller skating from Roy Thompson Hall to The Phoenix at 410 Sherbourne. Worst bit is an ongoing gag about a fake radio station. Can anyone identify the actors in that skit? One last thing - hair was fantastic.
