They feature phosphated internals and a chrome lined barrel for corrosion resistance. Then the pistol is marked with a laser engraved anchor in the slide and FID tag on the frame. My particular pistol has the E2 grips with are a substantial improvement over standard P226 grips. The pistol has three dot Sig lite night sights and two 15 round magazines.
With a DA/SA pistol they usually have decocker. The one found on this pistol is very easy to use and works extremely well. The first trigger pull is very heavy and deliberate which makes these pistols very safe and then follow up shots will have a much lighter pull. P226 pistols have always been very accurate for myself but they take a lot of practice to be accurate with. The double/ single action is not as user friendly as a striker fired pistol but they can be every bit as accurate with practice.
The Sig P226 MK25 is the perfect pistol for someone’s collection or the duty role. Hardened and proven in ever way. They garner a reputation like the 1911 and have a large following of loyal fans and professional end users.
