As it's about that time of year for Ring Ouzel....we've never had an autumn one, but this jumped up on the wires of the car park field and had me going for a few seconds. Darn digi camera wouldn't focus, so it's rapidly approaching the time for a proper camera to up the quality and reliability of recording. I was just holding out as long as possible on only using birding kit, as I didn't want to carry another piece of kit too.
