We compare Motorola's new Android One handset, the Motorola One, with its closest rival - the Moto G6 Plus, launched earlier in 2018. The Motorola One is releasing in the UK in October for £269, while the Moto G6 Plus is already available for the same asking price. We prefer the sleek design of the One, while the G6 Plus packs a slightly bigger battery, more Moto features and other benefits. Of course, as an Android One handset, the latest Motorola smartphone will get Google's security patches straight away, as well as upgrades to new versions of Android when they rollout.
