Abstract: Roseate and Little Terns are species of conservation concern in the UK; Chantal will describe the work undertaken a EU LIFE-funded project that has ranged from site protection to habitat management and included monitoring and research work.
Bio: Chantal Macleod-Nolan is a RSPB Project Officer working on LIFE on the Edge, a partnership project aimed at restoring coastal sites to benefit seabirds and waders. Her background focuses on species protection through EU funded projects, particularly, the LIFE+ Little Tern Recovery Project and Roseate Tern LIFE Recovery Project.
