Growing Watermelons| Container Vs. Inground Experiment| Garden Vlogging
I'm Brokefarmer and in this episode I will let you know about an experiment i did on growing watermelons in Containers Vs. growing them in the ground. This is my personal choice so however you want to grow your watermelons is okay, depending on space and how many watermelons you want to grow. As for me and my house going forward this is how i will grow melons exclusively. I wanted to make sure variety was not a factor so i grew, Georgia rattlesnake, Jubilee, Garden Leader Monster and Blacktail watermelons. These are the varieties that were supposed to grow best in my area, Zone 8A Georgia. Make sure to see if there is a particular variety that grows best in your zone. Ask your local watermelon farmer what variety they prefer or if watermelon is something they recommend growing. Watermelons need a long Growing season and only thrive in the summer months.
