A comment on one of my recent videos called my attention to the probability that having a bluetooth module permanently switched on inside a tube radio was probably not a great idea. As it's only required when we select the pickup input, there is not good reason for letting it pollute the airwaves while we're listening to radio, right?
Along comes the idea (from Rodney) to drive a relay from the magic eye's high voltage supply, which would provide power to the BT module only when said eye was off, i.e. when NO radio was being listened to, i.e. when the pickup selector was activated, i.e. when we wanted to listen to the bluetooth audio.
You get the idea.
Enjoy and stay safe.
