Hanukkah 1932: A menorah faces the Nazi headquarters in Kiel, Germany, a few months before they came to power. Rachel Posner, the wife of Rabbi Dr. Akiva Posner, took this photo from her home, with a note written on the other side:
"Death to Judah," so the flag says.
"Judah will live forever," so the light answers.
The family left Germany, and today, the menorah still brings joy to their family - in Israel. Light always wins over darkness. Happy Hanukkah!
