Discover Segeevka's Magical Mud
Segeevka's unique balnea estuary muds rich in sodium chloride-magnesium is only comparable in healing properties with the more famously known Isreal Dead Sea mud.
It's healing factors were secretly used back in the Soviet era to treat diseases such as nervous disorders, joints and spinal conditions, respiratory ailments, digestion problems, gynecological conditions, skin and pediatric diseases, infertility, and even erectile disfunction to name a few.
Although more European's are discovering it since the iron curtain fell in 1991, it still remains a largely untapped medical resource of Ukraine's southern Odessa region.
Sergeevka is the largest climatic and balneal mud resort in the Odessa region. In the past, Sergeevka was a Moldavian mud resort, and the healing factor was the water of the Shabolat estuary, which has long been used for medicinal purposes. Estuary water is sodium chloride-magnesium water and is used to prepare various mineral baths. Huge reserves of high-quality (without impurity) medical silt mud are of great importance for the Sergeevka resort.
Segeevka mud effect was researched in 1972. The presence of the above therapeutic factors in the resort of Sergeevka allowed to achieve high therapeutic results in the treatment of diseases such as diseases of the nervous system, musculoskeletal system (diseases of the joints and spine), non-tuberculous respiratory organs, digestive organs, gynecological, skin and pediatric diseases.
Shabolat estuary is unique in the composition of the mud and is comparable in healing properties only with the mud of the Dead Sea in Israel.
Mud therapy is indicated for chronic arthritis, deforming osteoarthritis, chronic spondyloarthritis, osteochondrosis, ankylosing spondylitis, with lesions of muscles, tendons, bones, fractures of delayed consolidation, with osteitis, pereostitis, myositis, fibromyositis, buretitis. Also it heals contractures after burns, injuries, phlegmon, with trophic ulcers, long-term non-healing wounds.
